Our last rest day at Forever Resorts. Tomorrow is a short +- 35 km to Knysna with a few extra kms to reach the Heads and a breakfast we’ve been dreaming about for the past few thousand kms, Eggs Benedict at East Head Cafe. We had a visit this morning from Bernhard and Urte who live between Munich and Plettenberg Bay. Had dinner with them when we rode through Munich last year. Our neighbours here at the campsite, Steve and Alida were going to PnP to buy a roast lunch for themselves so gave them money for lunch. She came back with two huge portions of vegetables and roast beef and lamb. Peter had cold food as the electricity is off, I’ll leave my food for the cleaning staff.

Panniers are  packed for our second shortest ride tomorrow and filled with ‘soet koekies’ given to us by Beulah and Gert. We hope to see them when they camp at Hartenbos in February. No need to carry extra water is great as it lightens the load. We’re going to literally fly tomorrow, as Windy predicts a great tailwinds.
